"Photography is for me a fire that burns inside, capable of keeping me awake at night, of not making me feel fatigue when I take tripods and lights up to the top of a mountain, and of keeping me in a state of perennial mental" activation " and emotional.
Through photography I try to express the poetry that I perceive in the world around me, that "nest" in a reflection in a puddle, in a fleeting shadow, a peeling wall by the years, fearful look of a child or the dreamy a girl. Mine is an emotional approach: apparently the photographic genres that development may seem very heterogeneous between them space easily between portrait, urban photography, street photography, beauty and fashion, without overlooking the landscape. But what unites the photographs shot is always the search for an emotion, an idea, a relationship, a moment. Those times when I perceive to be successful in, when I feel I have caught something absolute, the emotion is really strong.
In my stamp stylistic features are recurring, almost obsessions: the attraction for the reflexes, the charm of the shadows, the juxtaposition of contrasting elements and the use of selective focus.
I also love to tell stories and I find conceptual photography really exciting. Being able to communicate a concept through a single photograph is a difficult challenge, and when you do, the satisfaction is total. It is a different way of photographing than when I go out, alone, looking for emotions to capture. In this case I start from what I would like to express. And I try to make it happen through photography. Thinking first about how the concept can be made simpler and more direct. The design of the shot is the most beautiful and creative part ”.
