The Ambassadori Hotel in Tbilisi, which is located in the historic center of the capital of Georgia, has been the subject of an important expansion project in the last three years by Studio D73 Arch. Marco Vismara & Arch. Andrea Viganò.

In the historic part of the accommodation - about 4.000 square meters - built in the 1980s and kept in its original condition, a new complex of 9.000 square meters has been annexed to the project of the local study Qalaqproeqt.

The recently completed structure now includes a total of 121 rooms, of which newly created 83 and a Presidential Suite, distributed on 5 floors. The new Ambassador also includes a Spa, a restaurant guided by an Italian chef and a casino in the basement. The newly completed structure is a five-star refined elegance, where Made in Italy is the absolute protagonist.

The style proposed by D73 is eclectic: An elegant classic with contemporary notes where the thread is the tailor-made care of the project. The attention to detail is, in fact, meticulous, especially in the elements custom made by the Italian workers who have lent their work here and whose work well blends with local traditional craftsmanship in a cultural dialogue between Italy and Georgia. An example of this is the widespread use of wrought iron - framing stairs and all windows overlooking the central hall and used on exterior facades - a typical Georgian element, wisely combined with precious marble, elegant fabrics, ornaments, precious woods, Crystals, soft skins. All taken care of by the crafty hands of artisans who have customized the design of the new Ambassadors.

The importance of the newly built hotel combined with the absolute prestige location of the Hotel, located in the heart of the old town in front of the monumental Presidential Palace, overlooking the Kura River and directly on Shavteli Street, the historic central Tbilisi street rich in local and Historical palaces, makes Hotel Ambassadori the most prestigious accommodation in the Georgian capital.

The Presidential Suite

The Presidential Suite of the Hotel Ambassadors dominates the Tbilisi Old Town from the 5th and 5th floor of the hotel and represents the most prestigious part of this luxury and impact hotel. The 420 square meters of the Suite are dominated by a dome of 8,50 meters in diameter, completely frescoed by hand by young Russian artists.

The Presidential Suite is made up of a large central living area which overlooks three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom inside. The finishes chosen by Studio D73 for the Royal Suite are silver and white in every room, except for a bedroom in which silver has been preferred gold. The style is what distinguishes the entire Hotel: a contemporary classic designed to fit the design, with great elegance and value.

All the furnishings of the Royal Suite are by Francesco Molon, the lights are Patrizia Volpato, carpets of Ege carpets. For bathrooms, Linea Calì (handles), Signorini (mixers), Colombo Design - Hermitage Collection (accessories) and Patrizia Volpato (mirrors) have been chosen. The exterior furnishings are of DFN Collection Samuele Mazza.
