diesel Living presents the new collection of floors and walls created from the collaboration with Iris Ceramica, a leading Italian company in the production of technical ceramics and porcelain stoneware.

The unstoppable rise of Diesel Living continues and, after the important successes achieved in various furnishing sectors, continues its run by expanding the product range and choosing Iris Ceramica as a new partner for 2016.

Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica: a partnership that marries the creativity and unmistakable taste of the international lifestyle brand with the expertise and advanced technologies that have always distinguished the Modena ceramic company.

The design bears the signature of the Diesel Style Department while the development and realization of the final product are the result of the know-how of the Iris Ceramica research and development department. An ad hoc project that enriches the offer dedicated to home furnishings and acts as a trait d'union between the living area and the sleeping area while preserving the continuity of Diesel Living language.

industrial and urban atmospheres inspirations dictate the guidelines for 5 collections that interpret urban style through Diesel's rock soul: metallic hues, iridescent colors and material textures with a resin and concrete effect dress the rooms of the house, revealing the bold personality of those who live there.

Concrete, Industrial Glass, Camp, Stage and Hard Leather, lines designed for laying on floors and walls that explore 5 different moods, interacting with fabrics such as canvas and jute and with “worn” finishes with an industrial design and a vintage flavor.

Federica Minozzi - CEO of the Iris Ceramica-FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti Group - comments on the new collaboration:

“We are proud to have started this collaboration with one of the major players in the fashion and lifestyle sector that has been able to constantly innovate, confirming its leadership at international level over the years. The trend setter spirit of the Veneto brand together with our technical skills of prototyping and product realization are a winning combination to offer alternative and distinctive solutions to the interior design scene ".

The Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica collections are part of the Diesel Living project which involves, in addition to Iris Ceramica, defaulting for furniture, Foscarini for the lighting, Scavolini for the kitchen and bathroom, Berti for the wooden floors and Seletti for objects.

The 5 collections in detail

CONCRETE

A hyper-realistic imitation of urban concrete, Concrete is a frequentation between contemporaneity and lived-in. With the cracks, cracks and shades, the industrial inspiration is expressed here with a very strong and explicit style. Coziness in one's home can also be dressed in this bold, only deceptively simple way.

INDUSTRIAL GLASS

Material power that tells of industrial archeology. Decontextualized, the classic glass of the outdoors, of industrial windows, enter the house and furnish as if they were designed for this. The blocks are joined to form the cladding panels, also with metal inserts and crackle textures, through profiles in the same material. The panels are composed of units in different textures and together create a very special effect.

CAMP

Powerful ideas with transposition of textures from textiles, through reinterpretation or fidelity. Military style quote for an audience that loves and has known the characteristic Diesel mood for a long time and dreams of it at home too. Camp is canvas, it is jute, it is canvas combined with glaze surfaces - the glossy majolica - and the hard ones of stone.

INTERNSHIP

Structured, corroded, marked, patinated metal - the Boss finish is very particular, which evokes the anti-slip properties of stage constructions and flight cases for transporting musical instruments - to be combined with a brand new style. Aggressive and bluntly. Private and convivial environments are dressed in strong characters, suggestive, tell a lot about those who choose them.

LEATHER HARD

It dresses the environment in a transversal way, the concept has encountered suitable materials, such as leather, always in ceramic. A combination of impeccable balance for a charming environment that is interpreted as a place of intimacy and, at the same time, of sociability.

The appointment for the world premiere of the Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica collection is April 13, 2016 SpazioFMG in an innovative exhibition concept created to illustrate the unprecedented collaboration between Diesel Living and Iris Ceramica.
