The renovation of a house in the historic center of Castelo Branco wanted to represent the attempt to establish an urban revitalization with the occupation by younger age groups.
Francesco Meneghello signs the interior design of an apartment in Bologna, conceived around the passions of the young couple of owners.
The project is the result of the renovation of an old farmhouse located in a still very rural city.
The apartment was renovated during the COVID-19 pandemic. This meant that the construction process had to be adapted for safety reasons, especially since the site did not have an outdoor space.
The aim of the project was the construction of a single-family house on a lot with extraordinary morphological characteristics, which remained almost intact and unaltered. The land, about 12 thousand square meters, is located in a protected area due to the existence of numerous cork oaks.
The project consists of the expansion of the existing production unit to the west and south, with the construction of a new pavilion and an administrative building.
