From 14 to 19 April next, in via Lazzaretto 15 in Milan, design, art and words will take to the field to give life to "A STOMACO VUOTO",
exhibition of projects around the theme of fasting, from a creative concept by Linda Ronzoni, Andrea Vitullo and Alfred Drago, developed and curated by DWA - Alberto Artesani and Frederik De Wachter studio.
The exhibition, sponsored by Spin-To at the Milan Design Week 2015 and inserted within the Porta Venezia in Design circuit, it will present the work of twenty-one artists and designers specially invited to interpret, through their works, a theme as delicate and complex as that of fasting.
A theme that also wants to be a provocation in the year of Expo 2015, in which Milan will be the platform for a comparison of ideas on the theme of food, but above all the opportunity for an unprecedented reflection on a controversial but also rich in possible creative and regenerating looks.
A STOMACH EMPTY will also represent the occasion to inaugurate the new space IL LAZZARETTO. It will be the first of a series of events that will animate this place throughout the year and which will continue to develop the rich theme of fasting.
IL LAZZARETTO is a space founded by Alfred Drago and Roberta Rocca, designed and built by DWA, but it is also a cultural association, a place where designers, graphic designers, writers, photographers, actors, musicians, yoga teachers and cooks can meet and start unprecedented contaminations.
IL LAZZARETTO is also the idea of giving birth to new projects, which create connections with the neighborhood and at the same time have an international scope, which bring together work and relationships, culture and self-care, roots in the city and the global territory .
