On the occasion of the Exhibition, Listone Giordano presents a preview Biscuit, the new collection designed by Patricia Urquiola.
Characterized by compositions of lines and shapes in freedom, to rediscover their natural wood floors and decorative vocation gives the material a more sinuous configuration.
Biscuit comes from an in-depth analysis of the systems for its laying traditional parquet and becomes an ideal link between the historical legacy of the system of wooden floors and contemporary style. The terminal strips is imagined as a rounded profile and then modifies the usual linear nature of the form, giving it a strong personality.
This results in many versions of parquet, each relating to a different language but with a valence of cutting absolutely current. Inlay, mosaic, herringbone, quarterdeck regular: whatever pose choice, Biscuit does look like the flooring in a rich fabric of interwoven and overlapping.
The gauge fluid is finally accentuated by the camber to run, which covers the surface of the plank giving a sense of further softness to the natural material.
