Kubo, a coffee table in Indian rosewood with maple inlays and Kubina, a parallelepiped-shaped storage unit are the novelties designed by Luca Bazzi, which Atelier Mo.Ba. will present at the Salone del Mobile 2014.
KUBINA
Luca Bazzi, is a precious and elegant cabinet cuboid, rosewood India, characterized by a play of lines, broken and overlapping, made with inlays frisé maple. The inlays of the draw rectangles and squares of different sizes compositions that create a decoration given by the color contrast between the two woods. The legs are in burnished brass.
Kubina is equipped with hidden drawers of different sizes - highlighted by the thick profile, in frisè maple - mounted with the “push up” movement. The attention to detail that characterizes Atelier Mo.Ba. it is also visible in the interiors of the drawers, made of tulipiè, a wood with a natural luster that creates an elegant "silk effect".
KUBO
instead it is a coffee table in Indian rosewood with maple inlays. It is a versatile element that can be adapted to different functions and uses: coffee table, container, console. It fits into any type of environment becoming the protagonist. The five faces of Kubo are designed by a composition of rectangles, of different sizes, which come together and intersect until they acquire the right tension and balance.
