Brandstorming is a research concept store inside the characteristic area of the Naviglio Grande in Milan. The store hosts makers who wish to propose their projects through a showcase able to enhance their content.
The research follows the fil rouge of high-end craftsmanship, the reinvented recovery of materials, environmental sustainability. A creativity that is expressed through the proposal of accessories, bijoux and bags, works of art, furnishing accessories and design objects. On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2018, Brandstorming hosts three different projects that range from furnishing accessories to accessory collections, united in the sign of handmade design and made in Italy.
ANIMAdVERTE presents the collection of Poliedrica bags dressed in a new material: cork. The choice of this material was born to meet the needs of those who want an alternative to the skin, remaining in line with
principles of sustainability that this natural fabric produced in Italy allows us to have. Lightness and the possibility of
being flattened make these bags practical to be packed in the smallest space.
INK. presents a capsule collection capable of transforming the basic garment par excellence into an exclusive must-have for quality and style: the t-shirt. High quality Sicilian fabrics, jersey cuts and macramé lace, and an exclusively handmade production, from seam to inking. Art and fashion come together in a t-shirt that becomes a canvas to wear through the illustrations of three international artists, Manuel Rebollo, Pietro Nicolaucich and Salvatore Palazzo.
Laquercia21, Umbrian laboratory of custom made design, presents the new furnishing accessories made of wood and reused materials, following a basic concept: ecodesign. The Messalina maxi sideboard in solid wood, natural colors of the three maple, oak and dark walnut woods, no handle and many doors that open using the grids, represents the perfect balance of softness and geometry.
