For the ninth consecutive year, the Rio + Design will take part in the Milan Design Week. This time, the initiative of the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro, through the Secretary of Economic Development of the State of Rio de Janeiro, with the support of the Sebrae-RJ, Brasil Be integrate the exhibition, organized by the Agency for the Brazilian Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil), from the 4 9 April, at the headquarters of the University of Milan, in the context of the event Interior Material Immaterial.
Fourteen creations signed by renowned designers and young talent, Which will show to the international public design excellence of Rio de Janeiro, were selected by the Rio + Design to participate in the exhibition. NEXT laboratory and Alice Felzenszwalb
The NEXT university laboratory PUC-Rio will surprise visitors with a printing project 3D ceramic material, developed together with the potter Alice Felzenszwalb. Em2Design, Bench Ratoeira

Two products that embody the concepts of lightness and comfort
Two choices produced by the Rio + Design to compose the exhibition are born from the concept of lightness and comfort characteristic of hammocks, an accessory for the house widely used in Brazil. Fernando Jaeger, table Tabuleiro
The work of Fernando Jaeger will be represented by Tabuleiro table. With a central base that escapes to the conventional design to mix light wood with steel fittings, the furniture has three versions: round, square and rectangular. Tabuleiro possesses solid wooden feet of "seringueira", which are connected to the laminate floor in "Freijó" from central steel rod. It can be used in kitchens, living rooms, porches and even corporate environments.
Lina chair, inspired by the Bauhaus style
The Fantastico Design Studio, by Leo and Fernanda Mangiavacchi, will propose the Lina armchair - a corten steel variant, inspired by the Bauhaus style, but with a Brazilian touch. The tubular wooden structure with metal connections is wrapped in a “sheet of canvas” which supports the upholstered seat and back. The result is a solid, comfortable and visually light piece of furniture.
Ivan Rezende exposure leads its line of Construção tables using materials used in daily life by the popular buildings in Brazil. The metal base with black enamel paint is combined with bearing surfaces that can be realized with firebrick, "cobogó" in concrete (typical of Brazilian concrete blocks) or in solid wood from sustainable management.
Dialogo Design, Freeze table lamp
