"WINE POUCH (R) EVOLUTION" is the innovative flexible packaging that Reverde Innovation BV Amsterdam has to Start Plast.
Winner of five international design awards, Wine Pouch (R) evolution is the innovative packaging that Reverse Innovation BV Amsterdam (spin-off of the Italian agency Reverse Innovation) presents during "Start Plast", the business incubator within the fair Plast, which will be held, from the 5 9 May at the exhibition park at Rho, Milan.
Designed to clear the current image of the wine sold in pouch or "bag in box" often synonymous with poor quality, this research project in the field of flexible packaging, was born of a partnership with the winery in Friuli Gigante. The result has resulted in an original garment gra-fig-structural refinement that reinterprets the style of the classic bottle "Bordeaux".
The important link to geographical origin of grapes is idealized by a process of dry printing, which proposes on the label surface morphology of the land worked by terraces on which the vines are grown. The arrangement of the rows of the vineyard again, represented by an if-gno sinuous, create concentric geometries and at the same time irregular reminiscent of the trend of the slope. The perimeter of the vineyard is ideally confined to the pack by the shape of the typical leaf vine native of this precious area.
"Our intention was to create a high quality product that can interact with a demanding and attentive, taking as an alternative path of innovation"Says Mirco Onesti, creative director and partner of Reverse Innovation.
Wine Pouch (R) evolution was awarded in contests The Dieline, Fab, A 'Design Award, How Design Awards and the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Museum.
