The “Lighting Design for Cultural Heritage - LED and new technologies” workshop will start on 11 January 2012, scheduled at the Milan Polytechnic at the prestigious Light Laboratory on the Bovisa campus.

The course includes intensive 40 hours and is aimed at professionals technical graduates and non-graduates who wish to specialize in the design of lighting for cultural heritage.

The workshop sees the contribution of MEGAMAN®, among the most important in the world in the production of energy-efficient lamps, with the aim of deepening and developing the theme of cultural enlightenment considering the variety of places where are made of the exhibition design, with the help of a series of practical experiments for the protection and preservation of good and special attention to the works of art through lighting, today one of the areas most challenging and complex for the lighting designer .

On Thursday 12 January (LM building - via Durando 10) the intervention of Luciano Gervasutti, commercial director of La Filometallica, exclusive distributor for Italy of the MEGAMAN® brand, is scheduled. The main topics will be the lighting sources and in particular the efficiency of LEDs in terms of color rendering, minimum heat emissions and important cost savings.
