The young Milanese studio, founded and directed by Francesco Meneghello, Italian designer under 30, debuts at the Salone del Mobile 2019 with the lamps Andromeda e Gentleman, two of his latest projects developed with D. Lanfranco for OLEV, Italian brand of lamps and lighting fixtures of design that offers products exclusively with LED technology.
Gentleman lamp
Gentleman is a suspension lamp that uses LED technology. The name derives from the iconic hat of the gentlemen of the past and based on a simple detail able to give character to a classic spotlight.
The lamp is provided with a light source that, thanks to a transparent component, generates a direct downward lighting and a diffused towards the sides. The lamp is equipped with an innovative and simple system of interchangeable magnetic lenses able to adjust the light beam and temperature in a few seconds, ensuring great flexibility for the product. The stainless steel body is incredibly resistant and limited in weight thanks to the reduced thickness used. The constructive quality of Made in Italy can also be perceived in the components and in the hidden parts.
The lamp is available only for environments intern.ed is finished with a special multi-layer color called Cosmic Black, inspired by the vastness of the universe.
Andromeda lamp
Andromeda is a suspension lamp that uses LED technology. The name derives from the famous galaxy visible to the naked eyes from the Earth and is inspired by the macroscopic and primordial beauty of light. The lamp is provided with two sources of illumination, one directed downwards and a diffused versa upwards, which can be switched on and off separately.
The diffused light works through an LED plate technology able to create starry sky effect on the lower surface thanks to 170 micro holes of different sizes. The lower source, always based on LED technology, is equipped with an innovative and simple system of interchangeable magnetic lenses able to adjust the light beam and temperature in a few seconds, ensuring great flexibility for the product.
The stainless steel body is incredibly resistant and limited in weight thanks to the reduced thickness used. The constructive quality of Made in Italy can also be perceived in the components and in the hidden parts.
