The Giacolù lamp produced by Zava was designed by Delineodesign Giampaolo Allocco and is a multifunctional lamp to be built, inspired by the game of meccano.

With Giacolù the public will be the true designer of their own lamp. Designed to entertain adults and children, Giacolù is the lamp that you can build however you want.

Designed by Delineodesign for Zava and presented at Euroluce 2015, Giacolù is inspired by the game of Meccano, which made people entertain themselves, and here is a lamp whose main feature is its versatile and continuously renewable form.

An arm, table, abat-jour and lectern lamp, Giacolù can be all this because before being a source of lighting it is a game: it allows you to build ever-different shapes and objects.

Various elements come out of its box: wooden components, metal screws and bolts, and clearly the light source (extremely safe for children because it is a low voltage -12 volt LED) that attaches to the lamp thanks to a magnet. All that remains is to imagine and assemble your favorite lamp, without limits for the imagination.

Arm lamp, table lamp, abat-jour, lectern… The true designer will be the final consumer who “playing” will be able to obtain many different models!
