Luisa Bocchiello, president of ADI (Association for Industrial Design), stressed the importance of synergistic aspect between young people and the territory, especially in the light of labor market issues in crisis today, hence the hope for a relaunch through the new impetus given by the young people.

Alba Caps, Professor of Jewellery Design at the Politecnico di Milano, has strongly supported the great cultural value of which is able to create the jewel, the subject narrating the history of the area, rich in memory and concluded that only a careful eye on the past can project ourselves toward the future in a conscious way.

Gijs Bakker, distinguished designers recognized worldwide, has postponed the semantic reconstruction of the jewel that seals the sense of identity and belonging. It also highlighted the contradictory aspect that the same project carries with it to the different dynamics in place in the design phase: a souvenir must be valuable, practical, evocative and satisfy a wide audience; as president of the jury, he said he was satisfied because the ideas were many and interesting. In the end he wanted to bring back what was expressed by designer Ingo Maurer, about the work of the goldsmiths "What you can do in one centimeter I can not do."

Among the interesting proposals, historic plants of Italian monuments; no doubt this is the heritage to offer to the future and to treasure.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the exhibition "The sustainable jewel" of Richard Dalisi.

Striking the intervention of A.Buccellati jeweler, representing the major Italian goldsmiths of world fame, who wanted to tell the short story of a young Frenchman who, traveling with a caravan of nomads into Italy of 1500, produced a series of sketches, appointing his cahier "Souvenir of Italy".
