CAIIGO Suspension lamp, "caigo" in Venetian dialect, is the mist that rises from the water of the lagoon, is the rarefied atmosphere that welcomes dawn Venetian fishermen.
It comes from this suspension lamp designed by Marco Zito forFoscarini, Characterized by the contrast between the magic of the gradient of the speaker and the concreteness of the technical part.
To give life to the concept at the basis of the project, key was the choice of material: the typical Murano blown glass is in fact able to guarantee the gradient effect that characterizes the diffuser.
The glass making process Caiigo is very complex: is the sensitivity of the master glassmaker seize the exact combination and fusion of white and transparent to achieve the desired shade.
That's why each lamp is unique, and the transition between the two crystal colors vary slightly from piece to piece thus giving the product a high handicraft value.
In Caiigo, the millennial art glass and productive learning approach the LED technology that interacts harmoniously with the project, creating a lamp that stands out for its contemporary character and versatile in any position. For an evocative mood light it joins great lighting downwards, which makes it perfect over a dining table or studio.
Caiigo is linear, balanced and magic: not just a lamp but a piece of landscape. Thrilled by its simplicity and variety: when off the glass almost out of sight, whereas when turned suddenly takes life, with a soft light like a flame, that caresses and does not dazzle.
Caiigo is a timeless model, lightweight, aesthetically and functionally versatile, suitable to inhabit many environments.
Due to its size it can also be arranged in a line or cluster, to feature private rooms or contract spaces.
