Tradition revisited and updated, not only in the shapes but also in the materials. This is the philosophy of Virna, a novelty of Alma Design at the Salone del Mobile 2016: a product that evokes the archetypal lines of the 50s chair, to which a new and distinct functionality has been attributed.
Simple, geometric but at the same time of great elegance, Virna offers a sophisticated contrast between the solid wood of the structure and the seat and back in polypropylene, modeled with injection molding technology. The choice of the essence of wood, as well as the color of the seat and backrest determine the innovative sign and the extremely versatile design: the image can be that of a timeless chair or a lively object, ideal for decorating environments trendy.
Virna is also available in the version with upholstered seat and back, which can also be customized thanks to the fabrics and leathers from the Alma Design sample collection. The balanced composition and high ergonomics are finally perfectly coordinated with the concept of practicality: Virna is in fact stackable and is the ideal solution for contract or residential contexts.
