The tradition revisited and updated, not only in form but also in materials. This is the philosophy of Virna, a novelty of Alma Design at the Salone del Mobile 2016: a product that recalls the archetypal lines of the 50 chair, to which a new and marked functionality has been attributed.
Simple, geometric but at the same time of great elegance, Virna offers a sophisticated contrast between the structure's solid wood and the polypropylene seat and back, molded with injection molding technology. The choice of the essence of wood, as well as the color of the seat and backrest determine its innovative sign and extremely versatile design: the image can be that of a timeless chair or a lively object, ideal for decorating rooms trendy.
Virna is also made in the version with upholstered seat and back, which can also be customized thanks to the fabrics and leathers of the Alma Design collection. The balanced composition and high ergonomics are finally perfectly coordinated with the concept of practicality: Virna is in fact stackable and is proposed as the ideal solution for contract or residential contexts.
