The Swiss company USM celebrates the first jubilee of the module par excellence, USM HallerWith project50.
Project50 is an international laboratory of ideas.
USM has brought together a select number of teachers and students of the faculty of design and architecture of the USA, Japan, France, Germany, England, Italy and Switzerland and asked them to thoroughly analyze the form also to trial and offer new interpretations of the system USM Haller.
For a week, in the idyllic estate of Domaine de Boisbuchet in the south of France, the students devoted themselves to the research and development of projects and drafts on the theme “rethink the modular”, supported by expert teachers.
The students' work on the theme “rethink the modular” will be presented in an exhibition, curated by Burkhard Meltzer and Tido von Oppeln, on the occasion of the Milan Fuori Salone 2015. The stand at the Salone del Mobile will also be created in line with project50.
