It will be held by the 9 at the 14 April at Fiera Milano Rho, la 58th edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and in this prestigious occasion Selva will launch important innovations in terms of design and style. The first novelty of this year is certainly the introduction of three iconic pieces, designed by international designers. Will of Selva is to intensify collaborations with the most important design studios in the world.

At the Salone Selva he will present a preview of the Pont Table by Aldo Cibic, with an idea of structural and poetic design in the use of solid wood. The legs have a soft and oval section that widens and widens as it approaches the intersection; the plan instead contrasts with the desired effect of being geometric and subtle. Seen in profile, the table resembles a bridge from which it takes its name.

The series designed by the architect Francesco Lucchese for Selva consists of an armchair and an armchair. It is characterized by a line that, although it shows signs of memory, remains strongly current, with a soft and enveloping shape. The two small armchairs share the same base consisting of a soft, airy cushion positioned on a prestige easel. The back becomes the characterizing element: in one case it is detached from the pillow and made with soft padding towards the inside, and an elegant wooden shell towards the outside; in the other we find a total padding, which accompanies the round shape of the pillow until it is incorporated. A gesture that recalls the idea of a hug, a cocoon effect that welcomes the person.

Third element is the Laku armchair with matching ottoman by Toshiyuki Kita, previewed in the 2018 and today covered in leather in a new taupe shade. The structure is in solid ash wood and the back is reclining to ensure maximum comfort in use, as its name suggests, which in Japanese means "comfort".

The 200 mq stand (HALL 1, STAND D02-D04) consists of an outdoor part that introduces Selva, a living area and a dining room colored with rust, blue, dark gray and magnolia nuances, following the major trends in made of color. Central fulcrum is a structure of mirrors that encloses a desk, sample store / catalogs and lounge bar area. Inside the stand is the Trust sofa, where attention to detail, versatility and originality are the words that best identify it. This sofa is modular in multiple variants: modules of 90 cm, and chaise longue from 160 cm; a differentiated padding system gives greater comfort and softness. The peculiarity is the sweet curvature of the lacquered wood that identifies its shape. The protagonist of the most intimate area of the house is the Delano bed, where strong identity and distinctive elegance coexist, thanks to the padding of the wide front / back finished headboard in fabric or leather with thread and decorative accessories in antiqued bronze finish. Perfect for every room are the Doral sideboard and the Atlantic bookcase: the first with doors and handles covered in leather, wooden top and metal feet, the second a real piece of architecture, characterized by a wide façade with regular windows and the 2019 novelty of interior lighting.

But that's not all: the Verona-based company will open the doors of Selv (A) part to show how it is possible to furnish a space of 60 square meters with elegance and taste. Living, dining room and bedroom are thus realized in a unique and unmistakable mood. Selva's goal is to eliminate the rigidity imposed by the collections and create furnishings that can be mixed and matched in an out of the ordinary, personal, unique mix & match.

To do this, this year Selva will inaugurate a new line: JVM based on the must have and transitional furniture concept, perfect for decorating and giving a touch of personality to any room, space or corner of the house. Complements, furniture, decorations: metal is the protagonist here with simple shapes that complete all the spaces, classic or modern, with a minimal chic mood.

Also during the Show, Selva will launch a competition dedicated to interior, architects and designers, with the aim of creating settings in the "Selva" style with the furnishings belonging to the three brands: Philipp Selva, Selva Timeless and JVM. Participants, who can join individually or in groups of up to five people, can decide to design a house in complete freedom with regards to the distribution of spaces; the surface must be between 80 and 300 sqm. The best achievements will be awarded in the 2020 and published in the 2021 in a specially created volume.
