Stitch. Products designed for the outdoors but with features and refinement of interior design.

Agave

A collaboration between Ethimo and Mattia Albicini born Agave, a collection of tables and chairs whose lines are inspired by the sinuous shapes of the homonymous plant leaves.
The solid teak, which makes up the elements of the family, is worked by Ethimo with exceptional craftsmanship, to the point of recreating the soft movements, thin profiles and silky surface agave. Moreover, as the leaves let slip the water, so the design Mattia Albicini is equipped with a thin notch placed in correspondence of the symmetry line that acts as a drainage system, but also by elegant decorative detail.

The wood is then carved to give life to furnishings from the 'habit' elegant, extremely pleasant to the touch and sight.

"With Agave - says the designer Mattia Albicini - I wanted to create a collection that privileged comfort and was elegant and refined at the same time. Various influences, past and present, merge in his design. The past comes from the re-enactment of organic forms of furniture of the 50s, the present from the originality of the design and the study of the material combined with the sophisticated technology of processing solid teak, the result of Ethimo's profound experience. I would like this collection to be the choice for anyone wishing to enrich the outdoor environment with the flavor and refinement of an interior design ".

Sophisticated processing results not only in form but also in substance. Agave was conceived as a design study even more extensive, designed to ensure ergonomics and comfort, as well as a great longevity, as the plant that inspired it.
Agave reinterprets with a renewed sensitivity typical organic forms of the years' 50 and calls for a new experience of relaxation.

Kilt

One of the peculiarities of contemporary design is the ability to blend beauty and function in the very simple furnishings.

Kilt, the seat designed by Marcello Ziliani for Ethimo, born from the will to enclose in one product the best qualities required in a project destined to live outside.

'Kilt takes inspiration from the image of the famous band of tissue that wraps around the waist of the proud inhabitants of the Highlands. - explains the designer Marcello Ziliani - Similarly the back wraps around the seat restandone though disconnected, like the skirt that leaves the knees discoveries'.

Solidity, lightness and versatility are indeed the characteristics that make it the ideal complement to enhance the outdoor spaces of the different residential and contract contemporary contexts.

Kilt, with stainless steel structure, it is stackable and meets all the requirements for comfort: the use of a thick rope plot intended to form the backrest and the seat, ensures the necessary comfort and at the same time the resistance to atmospheric agents.

Kilt is a versatile, able to interpret the space that welcomes uniqueness and without affecting the color balance or aesthetic.

Stitch

A new finish for the chair with a fresh and dynamic design.

Stitch is a lightweight chair in the lines and robust in use, made of aluminum, characterized by the dynamic movement of the seat and backrest network that creates a pleasant play of geometries.

In its new version, Stitch combines the lightness of the metal structure to the 'heat' of natural teak slats. The result is a chair with a contemporary look that makes the contrast between the materials the main element of its design.

Comfortable, easy to stack and adapted to each table of Ethimo collection, Stitch is ideal for furnishing both private spaces both contract settings and can be completed with a technical fabric cushion.
