On the occasion of the International Furniture Fair IMM Cologne, Which opens its doors on 13 January 2014, LG Hausys will present in collaboration with its partners, in the Hall at Stand J 2.2 020, innovations and the most exclusive colors of acrylic stone New Generation HI-MACS®. Visitors to the stand, made entirely of HI-MACS®, will 'touch' adaptability and versatility of this excellent material for the interior design.
The exhibition is a collaboration with the design studio Dölker + Voges presenting for the first time at the IMM Cologne furniture collection "maccaron".
For years, this design studio, specializing in interior design of boats and yachts, using acrylic stone for luxurious living areas of these boats. For the new collection "maccaron" Felix Dölker and Robert Voges have used the experience gained in many years of research and experimentation in the optimal use of space, with an extraordinary material, such as HI-MACS®, the perfect workmanship and are, therefore, able to offer a collection of objects with the best features, synthesis of great features and an intrinsic beauty beyond fashions.
The design of the stand, reveals a geometric design. A large cube welcomes, in fact, inside the visitor can enjoy a moment of relaxation and seclusion from the fair, finding himself face to face with the charm of HI-MACS which, through a clever light show, showing the fantastic of translucency various shades of its color range. The stand is also a place of exchange: around a table 'sculpture' in HI-MACS, whose shape is reminiscent of the famous sweet French macaron, which in turn refers to the aforementioned series of furniture, exhibitors invite the visitor to exchange ideas on the various possible uses of HI-MACS®. For years now the acrylic stone follows major international successes in the field of interior design and interior.
It is a mineral material homogeneous, easy-care, non-porous and, as is shown by the curved rear wall of the stand, thermoformable and no visible seams. At IMM LG Hausys will also exhibit the Sparkle Collection, a new collection of colors HI-MACS® created by renowned designer Karim Rashid, that stands for exclusivity and uniqueness of the many shades in 2014 will enrich the already wide range of colors HI-MACS®. Cologne Trade Fair is the place where competent partners agree jointly to present innovation and products.
In 2.2 Hall, at Stand J 020, HI-MACS® will present along with Dölker + Voges Klöpfer Surfaces and the particular characteristics of acrylic stone. The stand was made by Abalit and carpentry workshop Peter Grube.
