Furniture that made the history of design. Or rather the Anti-design. Casaidea 2017, the Fiera di Roma from the 18 26 March, hosting for the 43a edition of the exhibition "Dali ... to here" - The Body and Design between dream and reality, an exhibition in Hall 1 which recounts the steps of the design and Anti-design, a design actually developed in Italy since the early '60 and' 70.
Assuming that dreams are to decide for us, the unconscious becomes the creative engine: the Anti-Design turns his criticism of the planning that was placed at the service of a consumer society, then booming. This gives rise to so ironic and eccentric objects in the languages and innovative forms and in the operating functions. They take the form of energy design, thanks to the use of the expressive potential of kitsch and irony, unique furnishings, works in which the material and color are essential tools of the project that is called to communicate emotions.
The exhibition of "Dali ... to here" - The Body and Design between dream and reality takes visitors on a common thread that unites - on the topic of form, Myth and the game - the works of Andrea Salvati, Adolfo Natalini, Alessandro Mendini, the Mazzi, Urano Palma, Sergio Cammilli, Luigi Belli, Luigi Ontani, Pietro del Vaglio, Massimo Luccioli and Tommaso Cascella, among the greatest artists of contemporary design.
The exhibition, promoted by Moa Cooperative Society organizer of Casaidea 2017, is coordinated by Sandro Conte and Eraldo Roberti and produced in cooperation with "MIRABILI - The art of living" and the patronage of Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservationists of Rome and Province.
