Eclectic and creative. Able to reinvent itself always putting into play with a new experience. We are not talking only of young designers and designers who will participate in the sixth edition of the "Cristalplant® Design Contest", but also of jurors who will sanction the winners. Cristalplant® and Agape in fact formalize the jury that will evaluate the projects competing for the 2014 edition of the well-known international design competition. Aimed at young people born after 01/01/1974 and their multifaceted spirit, the competition will reward the creatives who will best be able to interpret a material such as Cristalplant biobased (www.biobased.it), Inspired by the style of Agape.

Next to Emanuele Benedini, CEO of Agape, and Diego Magalini, the company's R&D manager, will sit down Vittorio Pavarin, Marketing manager of Cristalplant. They will be joined famous names at the national level and beyond.

Artemio Croatto: he started working in the Snaidero advertising office at a very young age. After other interesting collaborations, at the end of the 80s he started to work as a freelancer, dealing with the artistic direction and visual communication of some companies including Arteluce, Flo, Fantoni. For the latter, the “Blue Industry” house organization begins to follow. Also involved in the activities of Moroso and Foscarini, in 2002 he founded the Designwork studio in Udine, which today counts among its clients some of the most important brands of Italian design. From 2005 to 2011 he was also a teacher of Visual Communication at the IUAV in Venice.

Livia Peraldo Matton: after graduating in Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, he chose the path of journalism and assumed the position of art director, first of the monthly Casaviva, then in 1990 of Elle Decor Italia. In 2001 she was appointed editor of the magazine. Since September 2012 he has also been director of the monthly Hearst Home, another publication of the Hearst Magazines Italia Group dedicated to the world of interior decoration. He has always followed new trends and changes in lifestyles with curiosity and attention, interpreting them with passion in the magazines he directs.

Davide Groppi: he began his activity in 1988 in Piacenza, where he invents and produces lamps with the homonymous brand. The internationalization of the brand began in 1995 thanks to the collaboration with Boffi. Three years later he inaugurated the Milan showroom, also continuing his work with many design companies. In 2011 he won the “Edida” award with “Sampei”, declared the best lamp in the world, a project which, together with “Nulla”, was selected by ADI for the 2011-2012 Design Index. In 2012 he inaugurated “Spazio Esperience” located in the heart of the Piacenza factory to let the true essence of the work of Groppi and his team be captured.

Stefano Casciani: writer, designer, curator and teacher, he was born in Rome in 1955. At the age of 24 he was editor of the magazine Domus. In 1984 he published his first book "Furniture as architectures". Since then he has established himself as one of the most expert disseminators of the culture of design, with exhibitions, projects, publications and conferences. For many years deputy editor of Domus magazine, Compasso d'Oro award for the RAI transmission Lezioni di Design in 2000, in 2011 he published with Skira the volume Flâneur, a large collection of his writings since 1979. In 2012 he founded the magazine "Drawing. The new industrial culture ”, quarterly of which he is now editor and director.

Italo Lupi: he graduated in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, he designs installations, museums, coordinated graphic design and editorial graphics works. Art director of Domus for six years and for sixteen years the managing director and art director of Abitare. Royal Designer ad honorem in London and is part of the Hall of Fame of the Art Directors Club Italia.

Participants in the “Cristalplant® Design Contest 2014” will have to deal with the design of a complete line or independent products for bathroom furniture (bathroom fittings and small accessories are excluded) in Cristalplant Biobased, also combined with other materials. The deadline for the delivery of the projects was set on 7 February 2014. The best project, awarded at the 53rd Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, in the context of the Fuori Salone, will initially be made as a prototype and subsequently included in the Agape catalog.
