As early as 2009, during the largest outdoor art festival in Japan, called Echigo-Tsumari, the artist Harumi Yukutake he built a magical looking house covered in thousands of round mirrors.

After walking along a narrow path surrounded by grass, visitors arrive at this house that seems to blend in with its surroundings, making the line between reality and unreality unclear. Each mirror is unique because it was hand cut by the artist.
