Perched on a private island, north of the Canadian city of Toronto, this sculpted sauna has been built using the technology for three-dimensional scanning, the model and the construction of the scheme.
Designed by studio Partisan, Was the result of a comprehensive research designed to simulate a natural cave.
The interior of the sauna boasts sinuous daring that reference dynamic air movement, as well as providing a comfortable and cozy seating. The large openings offer a view of the bay, while a skylight on the roof brings natural light inside.
Most of the prefab was built before being transported there by boat and set in prehistoric rocky part of the island. Details inside were developed in close collaboration with the manufacturer partner millwork, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship built.
