This project addresses current environmental issues, particularly at abandoned oil facilities around the world. The idea is to revitalize these structures and turn them into livable hubs. This activation process uses green energy as well

creates a sustainable urban habitat. The solar energy will be collected by a large photovoltaic system on the roof, while the wind turbines will be located in strategic places along the four facades and tidal energy collectors below. This project explores the possibility of living on the oil rig, above and below the ocean level. The general population can live above water while specialized researchers, such as marine biologists, will work in underwater laboratories. The intermediate zone will be used for residential and recreational areas. Existing structures could be strengthened with the use of peripheral steel beams that allow wind to filter through the platform without obstructions.
