Design, passion born by chance, is revealed to the architect Roberto Ancona Giacomucci, a lifestyle that characterizes every moment of the day. Leverages the knowledge gained over the years of study to learn how to manage space, materials and techniques. "Design Craftsman" considers essential to know the soul of the material to be molded, verifying step by step transformation. Thus able to establish a unique relationship with the object: coats it with new meanings while respecting the needs of the materials that compose it. It's a whimsical designer, ironic, but concrete and not a mere visionary by unrealistic ideas.
He believes in local talent and promising young people, many of whom passed through his classes at the Faculty of Architecture of Ascoli. Art Director of companies of which loves to enhance the mood, applies strategic / communication skills to promote the widespread dissemination and "democratic" project.
Over the years obtained important awards, among which: the Good Design Award, category Furniture, in 2011 with Fold-Kubedesign, and 2009 with Lily-Guzzini, iF Award in 2009 with Ball Shake-Magppie. It was dissected several times for the ADI INDEX: in 2003 with Bowl Snack Robex, in 2006 with Cocoon-Shiro, in 2012 with maracas-Caffè River, in 2013 with Cora-and Zoe Emporium.
Cora and Zoe also get the dimension of honor at Compasso d'Oro ADI XXlll edition.
