Pantera Mambo is a cocktail bar where light is the central element of the design. Anoche, a lighting design studio, collaborated to create a dynamic and crazy atmosphere. Through the use of materials, reflections and contrasts, light transforms space and invites you to dance and have fun.
“A cocktail bar made of unique experiences, emotions, simplicity and, above all, madness”.
These are some of the inputs that Célia and Michelle provided to the Anoche studio when they began collaborating on the lighting design of the Pantera Mambo. The truth is that they were very clear that light was going to be the main element of the project, so the design decisions were directly related to the behavior of light in the space.
Considering that the name refers to the salsa song, Pantera Mambo, it was clear however that light would be the transforming element of the space, inviting one to dance, play and have fun. At the moment “Pantera Mambo” was played, a wave of light would have invaded the space with its colours.
The choice of materials, as well as the careful study of the more technical part of the lighting, make it possible to create a dynamic and crazy atmosphere. The use of reflections, contrasts and transparencies leads the user to live a different and unique experience.
Anoche is a lighting design studio that aims to enhance architectural projects through lighting design consultancy services from both an aesthetic and a technical point of view.
Light is the intangible material that helps to enhance the potential of the project both in interior and exterior spaces. Lighting design helps to create atmospheres that highlight and provide differential value to architectural, urban and artistic projects.
