Just outside the Polish capital of Warsaw, Marcin Tomaszewski, the Reform Architect study, has created a dwelling that seems to float in the woods.

“Izabelin house” serves as a country retreat for a single family, and with its structure it disturbs the natural terrain to a minimum.
Formed by two volumes configured horizontally, the lower floor of the house is covered with reflective panels, consequently, these mirrored surfaces appear as an extension of the undergrowth.

Large openings are wide views of the surroundings of the structure, while the design also includes a decking area protected at ground level.
