Jo Crepain / Water Tower transformed into a house in 5 plans it has been modified: 2024-05-07 di
The transformation of this water tower on the outskirts of Antwerp, Belgium, into a 5-storey house is by Jo Crepain. Simplicity in plan and section coupled with the translucency of the upper floors makes the original tower relatively legible without compromising privacy.
The sturdy columns and concrete beams create a minimalist framework along with tamponade u-glass on all floors, a scenario of industrial architecture with modern wooden furniture, white walls and filtered light blue for the upper chambers.
