David Harper / Stacks, from the tree to the memorization of knowledge

The project eco-conscious di David Harper it was built outdoors to signify the relationship that exists between many humanmade objects and their direct connections with nature. Reading books, sitting on wooden chairs, resting on wooden tables, all thanks to the natural resources of our planet.

Stacks was created as a tribute to these living trees. Harper says that one of the main aims of the project was to raise awareness "The growing indifference around the world to our interdependence with the planet's environment, which increases my deep concern for its health."
