Hangar Design Group twice on the podium of the 17th International Packaging Competition of Vinitaly. The jury awarded the "Gold Label" prize for the reserve of Aquavite di Pura Vinaccia Double Rectified nardini and the special “Coordinated Image 2012” award for the Distillery's family line whose image the agency took care of in the context of a wide-ranging rebranding project.

This same principle of redefining the brand in a more contemporary way has been applied to the packaging, now awarded, where the traditional elements of the Nardini bottle, such as the cartouche in relief in the glass, the unmistakable reference to Bassano del Grappa, the distillery logo and the wording “Aquavite” has been maintained even if lighter in size and made highly consistent from a family line perspective.

As far as labeling is concerned, it was decided to maintain the imprint of the ancient Remondinian labels, making them more current and modern, balancing the weights of the individual graphic elements, giving them cleanliness and aesthetic rigor. The iconographic and value elements of the brand were then identified. Here then is that the year of foundation of the company “1779” becomes a fundamental graphic sign, visible in the capsules, while on the back of the bottle the essential place of origin for Bortolo Nardini, Bassano, is silk-screened. Even caps and packages have been made attributable to a common coordinated image, even if they refer to references of different products.

This confirms how an articulated graphic project can strategically contribute to the construction of a brand identity faithful to the history and vocation of the company, and transfer a centuries-old heritage in a tension to the future that can also be perceived in the packaging.

These awards consolidate the expertise of Hangar Design Group which already has many international awards to its credit in recent years, including the Red Dot Design Award for the new Ferrarelle bottle, the Question of Label Award for Mosnel labeling, and in 2011 the Compasso d'oro award for the Movit design project.
