The monolithic design of Duffy London's Megalith Table is inspired by Arthur C. Clarke's book "The Sentinel", the embryo of the novel "2001: A Space Odyssey", and the film of the same name directed by Stanley Kubrick.
The glass top supported appears in a miraculous balance on top of monoliths in the fall, frozen in a permanent state of collapse.
This incredible creation appears to the naked eye as an impossible undertaking, but in reality it is based on the solid principles of physics.
Materials: sweet powder coated steel, polished stainless steel, tempered glass.
