In this edition of International Furniture Fair the young but already strongly marked company Atelier Mo.Ba., presents a rich collection of products that tell its philosophy: the desire to break the mold by blending tradition and innovation, classic and contemporary, different styles and elements carefully chosen to give life to pieces with a strong sculptural value, where opposites attract becoming complementary and synergistic. The leitmotif of the new collection is the integration of very different compositional elements, achieved by combining simple and essential shapes with details with a strong decorative value. Furthermore, precious materials and fine finishes, Like mother of pearl, they are combined with other more unusual such as copper and gypsum.

The protagonist of the collection is also the skilful use of color, chosen to enhance the shapes and make the details even more surprising. As he explains Lidia Bazzi, the company's art director and interior stylist, «The collection we are presenting at this edition of the Salone is an expression of opposing elements that attract each other: classic style combines with a passion for design, reason with emotion, luxury with simplicity,“ calm in the storm ”. This is what most characterizes Atelier Mo.Ba. and this new collection ».

The new products, designed by Luca Bazzi, co-founder of the company with his sister Lidia, are the perfect representation of the design philosophy of Atelier Mo.Ba.

Among these we point Odette Collection, a collection of bedroom furniture characterized by the asymmetrical play of shapes and a hand-worked leaf carving. The choice of the turquoise color for the details becomes the common thread and the immediately recognizable element of the collection.

Odette collection, made of santos rosewood, is designed for the furnishing of the bedroom and it is distinguished by some elements recurring strong sculptural quality. The project starts from the combination of two geometric elements, the cuboid and cylinder, fused into one another to create an asymmetrical shape in perfect balance. What makes the collection unique and instantly recognizable is the leaf decoration, like a small sculpture, hand-finished, made of a woodcut that recurs in every piece.

Even the chromatic aspect plays a fundamental role: the color turquoise, Chosen for the decoration and for the balls present in all the furniture, gives a touch of light and freshness to the collection. Odette consists of basic items such as the bed with the headboard, nightstands, a dresser and a toilet that other furniture can be added such as tables, benches, desks, cabinets and a walk-in closet. The collection is customizable, from fabrics to accessories, according to customer requests.
