The Impronta 125 washbasin, designed by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas and created thanks to the know-how of Catalano, was awarded the Good Design Award 2014 in the bathroom and accessories category.

The award was conferred by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts.

Presented for the first time at Cersaie 2011 as part of the "Catalano per l'Architettura" project and already awarded the Designer Kitchen and Bathroom Award, Impronta 125 is characterized by the soft sign with which the Fuksas style has interpreted the innovative soul and technology of Catalano evoking sand surfaces modeled by the waves of the sea, in which the water flows in sinuous valleys.

The organic matrix, recurrent in the architectures designed by Fuksas, skilfully contrasted with more rational structures and geometries, constitutes the leitmotif of the collection - which consists of shower trays, suspended, recessed and countertop washbasins that can be combined with towel racks, mirrors backlit, dedicated furniture and drawers in glossy steel and glossy black and white - now available on the market after a long development phase due to the complexity of the project.
