Disano Illuminazione was the technical sponsor of the Public Design Festival, organized by Esterni, a group of young architects and designers involved in the redesign of public spaces.

Now in its third edition, the Public Design Festival presented a series of projects to give a new face to different places in the city of Milan. In particular, the overpass knocks a driveway and a large car park, both of which are rarely used. In the Garibaldi area, currently lacking a precise identity, it was a place for experimenting with projects capable of improving urban quality. In the green triangle south of the Cavalcavia, the Crossing Path Super Bench project, conceived by Raumlaborberlin, German designers who have been working in the field of urban design and interactive environments since '99, developing new strategies for urban regeneration, "institutionalizing" paths born from the citizens' spontaneous appropriation of an unplanned urban space. The super-bench, as a particular urban furniture, includes a series of innovative seats that implement the shape and surface of the traditional green benches, positioned near the intersections. Disano illuminazione has chosen to be the technical sponsor of the event with innovative products designed to best meet the city's aesthetic renewal needs, with new environmentally friendly technologies.

In particular, Aura (design Alessandro Pedretti, studio Rota & partners) is the LED street lamp, which revolutionizes the concept of lighting in the city. In addition to energy savings and the very high quality of light guaranteed by LEDs, Aura is able to characterize the urban landscape with a new aesthetic even during the day. Other products from the Disano and Fosnova catalog (brand of the Disano group), such as the Elfo, Cromo and Agadir projectors, will be used to emphasize the work of the designers and for suggestive luminous scenographies.
