One of the best architectural firms of the moment, Herzog & de Meuron recently completed this cantilevered office building in Allschwil, Switzerland.
Called the Actelion Business Center, the structure is made up of rectangular volumes that appear to hover above each other like Tetris blocks.
The center is equipped with energy-saving technologies, features such as solar panels and even grass-covered terraced roofs, which reduce stormwater runoff and keep the building cool.
