Designed by Giulio Lacchetti, the Stia chair is handcrafted by the Bed living atelier, specialized in woodworking since 1980. This family-run business is located in the famous "industrial district of the chair" in Friuli: this region of the North-East Italian produces 25 million chairs a year!
Stia is the archetype of the traditional bistro chair that is found in all the Italian “Osterie”, these popular taverns that mainly serve wine. Stia has a simple, almost evident shape that highlights the extraordinary work of wood.
