Tolix

Description

TOLIX now furnishes terraces and balconies with its new material: stainless steel, perfectly suitable for outdoor use. It has perfect resistance to corrosion, even in environments such as swimming pools or the sea. With the T14 armchair, Tolix was born a new icon of French industrial furniture! After the 1934 “A” chair, the true emblem of Tolix, the brand presents a new armchair in collaboration with the French designer Patrick Norguet: the “T14”. Patrick Norguet works on the art of transition by changing everything while remaining faithful to the characteristics of the brand: simplicity, functionality, comparison, quality, robustness. Worthy heir to model A, T14 has its own personality, a strong contemporary identity, in line with the Tolix style. This new armchair is essential and refined and is the result of great technical skill, of metallurgical craftsmanship. The goal of T14 is to obtain a light and very robust piece of furniture produced thanks to the processing of an ultra-fine steel sheet, for a very light effect. To achieve this effect during processing, the material was modeled by creating folds, protrusions, recesses to increase its rigidity. To increase its solidity, the seat and back are created from a single shape. The cutting, in addition to the assembly and the molding, take place manually with the support of automated operations. A know-how faithful to its origins that knows how to adapt to new ecological requirements: 100% of the materials are now recycled, the unused sheet metal is resold to foundries and the painting line is CO2-free. For indoors and outdoors - Perfect corrosion resistance, even in humid environments such as the sea or swimming pool - Stackable up to 8 armchairs - 100% French production
