Description

Industrial spirit and raw aesthetics for this cabinet entirely in folded steel sheet. As a worthy heir, he has taken up the characteristics that have made the success of historic Tolix furnishings: lightness, functionality and solidity. Its simple appearance hides a lot of work on bending and assembling the steel. Both sides of the cabinet and the two doors are embossed, made with diamond point. The lines are pure, the geometric design… A must! The doors open with a simple push and close magnetically. Conceived in 2009 by designers Jean-Francois Dingjian and Eloi Chafaï, aka Normal Studio, the Diamant collection evokes the raw aesthetics of industry and offers the same charm as the historic creations of the Tolix brand! Cabinet, but also shelf and chest of drawers: all the elements of the collection have the same depth. They meet and overlap, offering a multitude of combinations… This creates the perfect combination for your tidying needs. Symbolic and democratic, Tolix metallic furniture marks a significant stage in the history of design. The credit goes to the designer Xavier Pauchard who first used stamped sheet metal and zinc for the production of mass-produced furniture. Today, the company has acquired high-performance digital machines that accompany many manual operations and tooling inherited from history. Each element that comes out of the atelier is unique and bears the Tolix signature engraved in the metal. It is with genuine recognition that Tolix received in 2006 the label of “Company of the living heritage” conferred by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry. Side walls in "diamond tip" relief - Removable legs - 2 storage spaces of L 80 cm x H 30 cm - Stackable with all the elements of the Diamant collection (same depth)
