openArtmarket, contemporary art between cultural promotion and market
Give contemporary art the ability to open up new spaces for dialogue and encounter with a sensitive audience of admirers, although of limited economic opportunities, is the purpose which it presents openARTmarket, an innovative project in which 'work and artist 'get out of the logic of the exceptional and elite collectors to become a means of social communication, as well as aesthetic.
The idea of the project is to create an exhibition in the center of Rome-permanent market, where the public can begin to choose works for his own collection, and has helped to take the art with a little 'more than lightness, approaching the themes and styles of expression also following your instinct.
In the intent of its creator, Antonietta Campilongo - architect and curator of events, active for years in the organizational sector of contemporary art in Italy and abroad - there is in fact the need to create a place, where to establish direct contact between the emerging artist and the public facing contemporary art; a real 'market' where you can look, discuss, choose and, above all, buy contemporary works of art at very low costs (between 49 and 999 euros); a meeting point where you can give visibility and recognize the artist his dignity and quality as an art creator, paid for his work and his social function, and where to allow an audience of users interested in art contemporary, the possibility of acquiring works of authentic artistic value.
A concept of modern art as an alternative to that of the 'arts-stars' that have come to fame, overrated in the international circuits of large-scale collecting, difficult to reach by the general public, and alternative above all to that of "art of reproduction and replication" which, together with a widespread production of lower quality, is one of the surrogate realities from which a considerable slice of the public draws. A potential market that, if re-addressed, could incorporate and revitalize the work of emerging artists, recognizing them a role and a creative production value.
The exhibition space will be realized at MostraArti, in via Santa Maria in Monticelli 66 (Largo Argentina), where from November 19 it will be possible to find the works of emerging artists at national and international level with catalogs and presentation materials, and where they will also be periodically realized reviews, in which new talents will be presented to the public.
Alongside the creator of the project will be partners standing expertise in article marketing.
THE SPECIAL SECTION
A special section will be devoted to the art of recycling to promote a new way of thinking about our consumerist lifestyles. Through the development of "waste" as useful objects to live a creative and educational that respects the environment, it will give new life to materials that would otherwise be thrown away because apparently worthless.
To the frequent questioning about the different paths and purposes of artistic expression, the exhibition responds with the specific intent of raising awareness of artists and the public on ecological criticalities, supporting every useful path to invest resources and energy in the processes of reuse of disused objects and materials.
Partner for Art of recycling will nwArt Section of the Association Neworld always present in the art scene, with the aim to follow the social and environmental concerns of our time.
