This small table 900x450x450mm, is the result of a continuous research on the reuse of industrial residues - which have already been evaluated according to their characteristics and their possibilities of developing new objects (one or a small series) with them - the challenge is that to avoid the production of further waste.
Transformation processes than those of bonding and thermoforming have been avoided.
In order to emphasize the message, “waste has value”, a small vase will be placed on the table. The graphic aspect is that of a "carpet-as-object" that acquires new life and shape, with the pretense of ironically reinforcing the role of design in a continuous questioning / analyzing the environment, the users and what are the intermediaries between us and our environment: objects!
