modular library Nepi, Giulio Iacchetti for Internoitaliano it has been modified: 2022-06-02 di Benedetto Fiori

Produced by Joseph Cattaneo in Cesano Maderno and designed by Giulio Iacchetti the modular library of Nepi Internoitaliano is completely handmade in solid walnut.

Consisting of two simple modules assembled without the use of screws or mechanical connections in order to create a theoretically infinite library.

The arched structure refers to the typical Roman engineering work of the aqueducts. In this case, the reference, in the name and in the project, goes precisely to Nepi, a town in northern Lazio - whose name of Etruscan origin means “water” - and where an example of the majestic aqueduct stands.

The craftsmanship and the idea of a modular design, typical of an industrial production, makes possible an unprecedented quality and also countless construction / composition.
