The design studio Zorrozua & Associates chose giant colored anodized aluminum curtains that cover the exterior of the Ecuador pavilion building at Milan Expo 2015.

The building has three floors where visitors can follow a route through the various natural regions of Ecuador. The folkloric motifs drawn on the facade are a representation of Ecuadorian culture, and are inspired by the traditional textile crafts of the Otavalo region.

The project is divided into four sides, with an average height of 9 meters, reaching 10,5 meters in some places. The north and south walls are 25,4 meters wide, while the east and west are 15 meters each.
The lightness of the material has allowed the realization of this metal structure with enormous proportions. The installation of the tents was done in just three days.
