La new suspension designed by Vicente Garcia Jimenez-Cinzia Cumini and presented by Foscarini on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2014, 8 - 13 April, Is inspired by the suggestions derived from ancient oriental lanterns to the more domestic aviaries.

La realization comes from the observation of the spokes of a bicycle wheel, Hence the project also takes the name: Spokes, Which in English means, precisely, ray. The result is a lamp from soft form and from volume light that contains the light, leaving the space filter.

The lightness that characterizes the design matches the shape of the table, made of metal rod, and functionality of the LED light source, Which allows both to fully illuminate the floor that to obtain play of light and shadow, Projected on the walls with a magical effect of multiplication.

The production process used - the bending of the metal rod - is suggested by the shape of the lamp itself, which also provides a small housing to conceal the light source and an innovative solution to make the electric cable not visible.

The development of the project in two forms, two sizes e two colors different stresses its versatility, Spokes making it particularly suitable for both the living spaces than for public, Finding the perfect placement even in large architectural volumes, due to the possibility of multiple compositions.
