The Shanghai Tip sofa by Patricia Urquiola for defaulting is a contemporary, refined and reassuring seating system, with an understated and vaguely oriental flavor of luxury. New splendor of fine lines, perfection of proportions that convey an intrinsic comfort, emphasized by the pulled fabrics and the neutral and pure colors which are counterpointed by the bright colored spots of the optional cushions available in eight variants and the matching lacquered coffee tables in six finishes.

Simple and minimal in the normal position, very comfortable when the backrest, equipped with a tilting mechanism, is raised. The structure is in wood covered with differentiated density polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. The padding of the seat cushions is in goose down with polyurethane foam insert, while the back cushions are in goose down.

The completely removable cover is available in fabric or leather in the different categories from the samples. The feet in chromed or black painted tubular steel refer to the colored wooden sticks of the Shanghai game. The same motif can be found in the legs of the tables with the laminated top, silk-screen printed or lacquered, which complete the system. They are designed to be together with the sofas, coordinate and integrate while maintaining an attitude of precise identity and autonomy.
