What is the relationship between Design & Disability? A competition for designers under 32 try to find out with a vision and a concept and a final event during the week Salone del Mobile 2013 in the Archives Giovanni Sacchi Sesto San Giovanni (MI)
For designation is a contest for young designers with the aim to promote debate on the relationship between Design e Disability.
The competition takes place in three successive stages. The first, which closes theJanuary 11 2013, Requires participants to express a vision of this relationship, by sending a drawing a picture and a phrase to access the second stage of the competition. So i will be selected to send a simple project concept on the theme of disability.
The concept will be developed at the best 'Giovanni Sacchi Archive Sesto San Giovanni (MI) during the FuoriSalone 2013 within the event "Do not wait to divenare old to end up in an archive" where their author can further detailing the project, with the tutoring of a Senjor designers, and building wooden model, followed by an experienced modeller for design.
Finally all the material presented in the first phase of the competition will be the subject of an exhibition at the event Archives Giovanni Sacchi, while the winning designers will receive the support of the organizers in the relationship with any companies interested in developing their project.
The contest is promoted by Archivio Giovanni Sacchi, Magutdesign and CS&L, following the success of "Contest_Azione", a communication competition to promote the inclusion of disabled people in work that has financed guerrilla marketing campaigns such as "You know it do?" e "Business Wire"
