Christmas lights 2016 new strategic planning through the Association Durini Milan Design continuing its commitment to promote the Durini District east of the Duomo.
Milan, the city of fashion and design, is well represented, respectively, by two ridges and prestigious areas: the Montenapoleone district and Durini district depositories in the city center of the beauty and uniqueness of Made in Italy sector. A path to live but exclusive product that fully involves the heart of Milan contributing in making it famous throughout the world.
It is precisely in this elegant city setting, where important flows of visitors pour every year, that Christmas becomes magical, a unique occasion to which Milano Durini Design, on a project coordinated by the AMS - architect Massimo Salamone studio, has addressed its first associative initiative : Christmas Durini Design District 2016.
The initiative is sponsored by the Municipality of Milan and involves important design brands from the district: Axor, B&B Italia, Baxter, Cassina, Interni, Luxury Living, Meritalia, Natuzzi, Porro, Salvioni, Scic, Technogym.
Christmas Durini Design District 2016, Whose activities will start on 7th December and will end at the end of the festive period January 6 2017, clothe the area of Via Durini with a Christmas project that ideally wants to reinterpret the Christmas tree through its "deconstruction" and revival in share as roof garden, thanks to the range of light installations and green spheres coated in moss with insertions of natural materials.
The garden will be live via the insertion of decorative Kokedama: moss pearls and soils specific ancient Japanese floral art that allow the planting of small trees themed, giving staging a minimalist elegance tone.
The rhythm of decorum green and luminous spheres, with their suspended at different heights, it is essential and minimal, to offer a perception of "Christmas" poetic marked by a refined elegance. The green project is edited and produced by the floral designer Elisabetta Bodini.
An integrated communication system will guide visitors transiting in the area encouraging them to discover this city lounge, expression of design and lifestyle, among the most exclusive in Milan.
Not only decorations and lights to emphasize the identity of the district, but also an extraordinary opening night the 20 December for an exchange of friendly greetings with their clienteles and moments of entertainment aimed at the city.
