Innovative shading, Perforated and without visible structure, made with the techno-surface DuPont Corian, for the building of the community of municipalities of Lacq (Mourenx, France)
For the extension project of the building of the community of communes of Lacq (Mourenx, France), the architect Gilles Bouchez designed a sunscreen system Made in the techno-surface DuPont Corian, in order to regulate heat storage a glass facade facing south.
To be in line with the glass facade mounted without apparent structure, and allow occupants of the offices of charity of these sunscreens without seeing the support structure, has been developed a fastening system similar to that used for the glass: a set of vertical cables in stainless steel, spaced every 65 cm, on which the panels made with the DuPont Corian techno-surface have been “hooked”.
