Knot apollo architects and associates It is a house of 100 m2 for a married couple, located in a residential district of Tokyo on the corner of a hilly site. The building takes advantage of the difference of the middle plane between the front and the rear establishing a visual continuity vertical.
The exterior, which resembles a drawer partially open, is composed of reinforced concrete and glass. A series of translucent panels of the veranda, provide plenty of natural light to the living room while continuing to maintain a level of privacy. Another empty space covered with glass acts as a light well between the kitchen and the dining area.
